Rain continues to impact Chicago on Monday and Tuesday

CHICAGO (CBS) — There’s a break in the rain for Monday afternoon, but it won’t last long as more rounds of rain and storms are expected to move in starting Monday evening and continuing through Tuesday morning.
During that timeframe, significant rain can be expected, which will lead to the potential for flooding across the area.

The rain and stronger winds wrap up Tuesday evening; leaving Chicago with sunshine, dry conditions, and more seasonable temperatures on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Sprinkles continue for the afternoon. More significant rain returns this evening. High of 68.
Temperatures tonight remain in the middle 60s.
Widespread rain and embedded storms. High of 67.
